For the safety of our staff and patients, everyone over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask at all times when inside our offices.
At PM Pediatrics we believe in the health of the whole child or young adult —from the physical to the emotional to the behavioral, and every space in between.
And we recognize that the pandemic has caused a significant increase in behavioral health needs for children and young adults ages 5 and up.
We support multiple needs of our patients and their families with a wide-range of services including therapy, medication management when indicated, nutrition, and sleep experts. Our focus goes beyond mental health needs and emphasizes the overall wellness of the patient and family.
That’s why we are proud to introduce the PM Pediatrics Behavioral Health program. With this new offering, we are committed to providing the same high level of evidence-based treatment found in our urgent cares, to children’s and young adult’s behavioral health needs—so together, we can keep your children healthy, happy, and safe.
Too often behavioral health is treated in a silo. When it comes to your child’s care, we know the best outcomes are a result of open communication, partnership, and personalization.
PM Pediatrics Behavioral Health is individually designed to fit your family’s unique needs and schedule, providing you with high quality, comprehensive care that includes close collaboration with your child’s family, pediatrician, and school, if needed.
Our top quality care is carried out by expert pediatric providers who will seamlessly exchange information with your primary pediatrician.
Any child or young adult at risk of immediately harming themselves or others should be seen in an emergency department.
After thorough evaluation using input from you, your child, and health professionals who know your child best, your child will be matched with a member of our team of expert - Licensed Therapists, Child Psychologists, Social Workers, and Pediatricians with specialty training in medication, if needed.
For a limited time through the end of June, we are offering a complimentary screening and evaluation for your child. Teletherapy sessions start at $125. We will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance for reimbursements. In the near future we hope to offer these services via managed care contracts. Please note at this time, PM Pediatrics Behavioral Health is currently only available for New Jersey families.
The PM Pediatrics Behavioral Health team is composed of exceptional Licensed Child Psychologists, Licensed Social Workers , a pediatrician with psychopharmacology training, and your assigned Care Coordinator who will work side-by-side with your family and your child to guide you every step of the way!

We specialize in treating common mild-moderate childhood and young adult mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and grief. We treat children and young adults ages 5 through 26. We will perform an evaluation to be sure we are the right program for you. If we think your child requires a different program for care, we will assist you in finding the appropriate care.
Treatment for conditions such as drug abuse, anorexia, acute suicidality, and other complex cases or severe or emergent mental illness may need referral for higher levels of care.
Yes, PM Pediatrics Behavioral Health Program offers therapy. Therapy is provided by highly-trained licensed therapists, including licensed clinical social workers and child/adolescent psychologists, specializing in children’s mental health. We also can prescribe medications for these conditions if necessary. We use evidence–based approaches that are focused on improving children’s symptoms and functioning.
Current evidence suggests that in many cases, teletherapy works better than in-person care. Our therapists are trained to provide your child with the highest quality care via our family-friendly PM Pediatrics Telehealth Platform.
