Dr. Robert Best is the Medical Director for PM Pediatrics in Yonkers, where he oversees all medical operations for the practice. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Best was a Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. During his nearly 20 years there, he served as Director of Medical Student Education for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. In addition, he was the Director of the Physician Mentorship Program, providing local and international students and physicians with the opportunity to shadow physicians in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Dr. Best was awarded Teacher of the Year by the Columbia University College of Physician & Surgeons, Class of 2010. Dr. Best is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Best graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, and completed his undergraduate degree at Binghamton University.
