PM Pediatrics to Open Its Doors Today in Brooklyn
PM Pediatrics, an award-winning provider of specialized urgent care for newborns through college, will open its newest practice today in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, New York. The 6,055-square-foot office located at 240 Atlantic Avenue, features a Coney Island theme, and marks the eighth PM Pediatrics site. Dr. Fidel Garcia will serve as Medical Director of the new Brooklyn location, overseeing all medical operations for the practice.
Each PM Pediatrics office is open Monday through Saturday, from noon to midnight, and on Sundays and select holidays from 10:00 a.m .to midnight. PM Pediatrics has five additional sites in New York—in Queens, Westchester counties and on Long Island. They also have two New Jersey locations, in Middlesex and Essex counties.

Every state-of-the-art PM Pediatrics practice is led by Pediatric Emergency Specialists, including pediatric emergency physicians and board-certified pediatricians, who provide care and treatment for a broad array of illness and injuries including asthma, fever and other infections, dehydration, sprains and fractures, wounds requiring stitches and much more. Each office has on-site digital x-ray, which produces high-resolution images that are reviewed by a board-certified radiologist, and sent easily to a patient’s primary care physician or orthopedist. Additionally, the practices feature a comprehensive on-site laboratory, which performs blood and urine tests and a variety of rapid tests for infectious diseases.
Unlike most traditional urgent-care practices, PM Pediatrics specializes in treating children and young adults. The practice believes strongly in a child’s medical home and does not offer wellness visits, physicals, school check-ups or immunizations. PM Pediatrics also takes special care to communicate directly with each patient’s primary care provider the day of the patient’s visit, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care. Each office has access to specialists such as plastic surgeons and orthopedists, as needed. All PM Pediatrics locations are uniquely themed and feature TVs in every exam room, creating a warm, welcoming environment for kids and adults alike.
